Cabin Studio
This summer I'm setting up a studio in Northern Minnesota. My Minneapolis studio is my favorite place on earth, but my husband got a job in Lumberjack Country so I have to split my time. The up north studio is more complicated to arrange than I imagined. It's disappointing because I've only been able to work when I'm in Minneapolis.
Today is a new day. I'm hoping that when my studio baby gets up from his nap I'll finally be able to set up my easel and painting space. I'm planning to work on lots of paper art while I'm up here. Most of my canvases will stay in the Minneapolis studio which will remain open for First Thursday events.
I'll have to post pictures when everything is settled. Today I'm dreaming about when everything was simple and I spent all my days here:

AZ Gallery Shop - NOW OPEN!!
I'm very excited to be included in the amazing and talented artists gift shop in the AZ Gallery. AZ is carrying my bike and owl ArTshirts and my original mixed media paper art. Everything they have {from me} is one-of-a-kind so you can only see it there. GO CHECK THEM OUT! And then have some pizza, coffee, or {yum} beer next door at the Black Dog Cafe & Wine Bar.
AZ Gallery also has expanded hours:
Thursdays and Fridays 5:30 to 8:30 pm. Saturdays and Sundays 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
AZ is at 308 Prince St, on the first floor of the Northern Warehouse next to the Black Dog Café & Wine Bar

This is my first puddle piece and clearly I got the drops all wrong. This week I'm on vacation; so next week I'll be fixing the drops so that the ones on the right go right and the ones on the left go left.
Sweets even enjoyed eating his lunch while I worked.
He's a wonderful studio baby.

Ad Hoc Art Opening
TONIGHT! Is the grand opening of Ad Hoc Art! It looks amazing and I'm definitely going. I'm so excited that I've decided to bring my baby AND my mom! It's a gallery. It's downtown Minneapolis in that sweet building with the notes painted on the side. And it has MY art inside. Lil' old me. Yippee!
