this week around the studio

We had a productive and successful week.  We were able to complete four new paintings, update two old paintings, and lucky enough got a jump on next week's project.
I'd like to give a special thanks to Peter Campbell for stoping by this week to pick out some art.  We had a nice visit!  You should check out his Red Wagon Pizza Company {website in the future} - it's nutritious pizza, wood-fired in a transportable [i.e. wagon] oven - COOL STUFF!

Here are some pictures from the week:

wind turbine updated

This painting has been kicking around my studio for a couple years.  This week I decided that it wasn't green enough and so I repainted it.  The green is brighter and more vibrant and the turbines are small and in a line instead of the large ones that used to be depicted.  I MUCH prefer this fresh painting and I think you will too.

This week in the studio

I'm working on two new 12x12 inch fat bird paintings and updating an older
"Everything Will Be Ok" painting on paper.
I'm planning to give the three blue birds cowboy hats and bandanas.
The fluffy little guy is going to wear glasses.

Here they are so far:

This one is going to get more paint to even out the circles:
